Happy D-Day

Dads have a bonus reason to anticipate Father’s Day this weekend:  the National Retail Federation Consumer Intentions and Actions survey says spending will be up: Americans will spend an average of $106.49 for dad.

When compared to past years, more money will be spent on special outings and gift cards.

But in a nod to the slow economic recovery, 32% of Dad’s Day customers will shop at discount stores.
