Start saving now for your child’s school fees. The pay-2-play phenomena which began several years ago when schools started feeling the economic crunch has grown. This fall, instead of only being charged for AP classes or extra curricular activities, students might be assessed a fee for printer ink, used to duplicate tests.
Of course, the alternative to making parents pay is to eliminate programs and slash courses. How convenient that some schools will offer an installment plan (for an extra fee.)
