Choose this, not that

A team of researchers from Texas A & M studied the food choices of preschoolers.  Anecdotal observations from parents would have come up with the same findings that are published in the current issue of The Journal of Pediatrics:  advertising has a negative impact on children’s food choices.

However, the researchers emphasize that parents aren’t powerless:  consistent long-term messages about healthy eating can help undo commercial messages.
