Stand up, Not Stand by

Common Sense Media recently launched a program to help kids tackle the cyberbully issue. (Link below.)

The campaign, “Stand up, Not Stand By,”includes solid information and excellent suggestions within a developmental framework for ages 2-17.  A free teachers toolkit includes lesson plans.

Even if your child is neither a bully nor a victim, this issue is one of those deeper “topics of significance” every parent needs to address with their child.

Campaign partners, including AOL, Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, iVillage and others should be commended for their support.
