When Facebook friends include aunts, uncles, grandparents and everyone in between, the network feels a bit crowded. At least that’s what an increasing number of teens are experiencing.
Facebook’s cross-generational appeal is triggering some teens to move over to Twitter for the really important stuff, like communicating with friends.
If this network shift sticks, it will be interesting to observe the carryover to other aspects of teen life. The teacher in me wonders how these 140 character wizards will cope with writing a 20 page term paper. Could be interesting….
