Popular: “third places”

“Third places” appear to becoming more intentional meeting places for parents with young children.

As summer edges closer, I’m guessing we’ll see more of the casual lingering I’ve observed around our neighborhood.  The old-fashioned talking on the front porch has moved to  benches outside grocery stores and pocket parks.  Even text-happy moms and dads need face time with friends.
