Tween textwalking trouble

Textwalking or “inattention blindness” is a problem especially for 11 year olds, according to recent observations out of the UK.

Because 11 is the average age at which tweens get a personal cell phone, they are more likely to be distracted while walking, simply because they’re busy with their new gadget.

Although some blame distracted parents on contributing to the accident rates among children, experts say there’s a clear connection between the use of tech and children’s accidents.
