Disney princesses grow up

In posts, I’ve often addressed the challenges that result from trends that down-age into the children’s space. But in a unique shift, Disney is now focused on up-aging.

Earlier this year, a Bibbidy Bobbidy line of cosmetics and beauty products was launched for women. Seriously.

The princess connection – Mulan, Jasmine and Belle – is obvious on the “Beautifully Disney” packaging. Just in time to stuff in holiday stockings, I guess.
