The “no post” rule

With all the celebrations taking place next week, parents and well-intentioned relatives will be tempted to post holiday photos online.

But an increasing number of parents no longer upload images of their children on Facebook or YouTube. We are on the front edge of bio-identification. Although facial recognition software is only now becoming more mainstream, parents and grandparents are wise to guard a child’s privacy.

Parents who request friends and relatives follow the rule, “no posts about our child,” could be the wisest moms and dads in the universe.
