Big Bird might be popping up in the produce section of your local store by mid-year.
Sesame Workshop and the Produce Marketing Association have a two- year agreement to boost consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables by kids. This means that the TV characters and Sesame brand can be used on packaging without a licensing cost.
Will it work? Will kids really eat more carrots if Elmo is on the bag?
If previous research is any guide, the answer is a resounding, “Yes.”
