Father’s Day, everyday

The flurry of “Why dads matter” articles and ads that threaded through media last weekend really surprised me.

Although headlines hinted that new data revealed fathers have a significant impact on children, research from 2012 was the most recent research quoted across multiple channels.

Moms and dads nurture in different ways, but both have significant roles. There’s nothing new, there – we just need to be sure effective parenting happens long after the designated holidays.
