Pacifiers. That’s what parents are calling the tablets they gave their toddlers and preschoolers for Christmas.
“She knew what to do right away.” (Yes, swiping is an intuitive motion for young children.)
“He reads right along.” (Nice, but are you reading alongside?)
“There was no fighting.” (If each one has a screen.)
So more kids are now connected, but are those same children more isolated? Perhaps that’s a key question.
