Parent by instinct

Several years ago, one of the results of the deluge of online parenting information was that moms and dads were afraid to parent. As a result, a generation of parents lacked confidence in their ability to raise a child.

Many of those parenting young children today don’t have that fear.

Instead, they check out how peers handle a situation, then trust their instinct. It sounds like a balanced approach, but as in all generations, time will tell how well that strategy worked.
