That describes the annual US baby care industry, but that’s only the current status. The number is bound to go up with the slew of tech tools and gadgets hitting the market.

“Connected” infant products are often more expensive than traditional models.

But seriously, does a baby need a light show generated by a crib mobile, “smart” socks and a temporary thermometer tattoo?
